A-frame lifting devices.
Two 7 metre tall A-frames have been ordered by Mermaid Safety in Thailand. They have a lifting capacity of 5 tons, and have been fully designed and manufactured by Saweng.

Strengthening the organisation.
From 1st October 2009, Michael Thorsfelt is joining Saweng as business development manager. Michael's background is in mechanical engineering, where he has worked with sales, design, manufacture and project management of mechanical products.
Michael's tasks will mainly be to develop Saweng into other areas of manufacture and design, where Saweng has the competences to supply products at the right price and quality.

Supply and installation of pipe lines on Asian oil rig.
Saweng Engineering has been awarded the job to supply and install a halotron fire safety system offshore, including stainless steel pipe lines and electrical cabling in the Gulf of Thailand. The system replaces the old electrical system with a modern pneumatic system.
